Assistant Principals

Mrs. Regina Sanders graduated from Florida A&M University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary/Primary Education, and completed her Master's in Educational Leadership/Curriculum Instruction from the University of West Florida.  She has been an educator in Escambia County for 26 years.  Mrs. Sanders began her career as a second grade teacher at Helen Caro Elementary for thirteen years. She then taught 7th and 8th grade reading at Brownsville Middle for three years.  

Mrs. Sanders then moved into an administrative position as Curriculum Coordinator at McArthur Elementary School for three years. She then began her transition as an Administrative Dean for a year at Ferry Pass Middle School. After Ferry Pass, Mrs. Sanders came home to Jim C. Bailey Middle where she served as an Administrative Dean for five years before becoming Assistant Principal of the school.  

As an educator in Escambia County, Mrs. Sanders has served many key roles.  As a Curriculum Coordinator, she co-led the Community Involvement and Mentoring/Volunteer program.   She has served on the School Advisory Council, was the lead person for a Professional Learning Committee at Bailey, as well as the United Way Program liaison. She also oversees the Bailey Positive Behavior System program for the 2015-2016 school year.  

Mrs. Crystal Marr graduated from Alabama A&M University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Secondary Language Arts Education in 2007, and completed her Master's in Educational Leadership degree through the University of West Florida in 2014. 

Mrs. Marr has been with the Escambia County School District for nine years, serving as a middle school Language Arts and Social Studies teacher at Bellview Middle School, and most recently a Consulting Teacher with the S.T.A.R.T program through which she mentored and evaluated teachers new to the profession. 

Throughout her time in Escambia County, Mrs. Marr has worked in various leadership capacities including department head, clinical educator, and district trainer.  Mrs. Marr also worked closely with the teacher recruitment program in 2014 and has presented curriculum and planning workshops at district, state, and regional conferences.
